The Details
The goal of this class is to review anatomy and basic physiology that may be utilized in ICD-10 coding. The audioconference will be offered monthly as a Lunch ‘N Learn beginning promptly at 11:15 AM and concluding promptly at 12:15 PM Central.
The current syllabus includes these dates and topics:
- June 15, 2011: Overview, Body as a Whole, Integumentary System, Eye and Ear
- July 20, 2011: Musculoskeletal System
- August 17, 2011: Respiratory System
- September 21, 2011: Cardiovascular System - Heart & Great Vessels
- October 19, 2011: Cardiovascular System - Peripheral Circulation, Lymphatic Circulation
- November 16, 2011: Digestive System
- December 21, 2011: Genitourinary System, Renal, Male Reproductive System
- January 18, 2012: Female Reproductive System; Pregnancy, Labor/Delivery
- February 15, 2012: Central Nervous System; Peripheral Nerves
- March 21, 2012: Endocrine System
- April 18, 2012: Immune System; Blood and Blood-Forming Organs
- May 16, 2012: Neuropsychiatry; Integumentary System, Conclusion
