HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TEAM LEADER

Ochsner Health Center - Bluebonnet, located in Baton Rouge, is currently seeking an HIM Team Leader to monitor job functions of HIM staff to ensure productivity and efficient operation of workflow. Assists with recruitment, training and development of staff. Coordinates and monitors the incomplete chart process. Analyzes inpatient and outpatient records. Performs chart deficiency system updates.

Required Qualifications: College graduate or graduate of an accredited Health Information Management Program. Credentials of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) strongly preferred; minimum of 2 years previous progressive work in a Health Information Management Department preferred.
