Job Description:The Baton Rouge General Medical Center has an immediate
opening for a full-time Senior Coding Specialist. Position
will assign diagnostic and procedure codes to records of
discharged patients and coordinates the follow-up on
deficient/delinquent discharge records.Must have previous
experience with inpatient coding in an acute care hospital
working with Medicare and other payors.
Required Qualifications:CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification strongly preferred.
