LHIMA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Search

LHIMA has launched a search for our next CEO. The position will manage the business of the Louisiana Health Information Management Association (LHIMA) and support the operations of LHIMA as outlined by, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Association Coordination
  • Annual Meeting
  • Education
  • Financial Management
  • Job Postings
  • Membership
  • Operations,
  • Technology
  • Communication

The candidate must meet the following criteria to quality for the position:

  • Be an active member of LHIMA and/or other AHIMA Component Association (CA) (Required)
  • Hold the RHIA or RHIT credential with at least three years of prior experience in the health information management field (Required)
  • Have attended the LHIMA/AHIMA meeting in the last three (3) years (Preferred)
